The one bike in our lineup with a mid-drive motor rather than a hub motor. Mid-drive puts the power through the drivetrain instead of straight into the wheel, so the bike uses its gears to climb — which is why it manages 175Nm of torque from a 500W motor. On steep ground it is a different experience from a hub-drive bike of the same wattage.
The 48V 15Ah LG battery carries UL certification, lifts out for indoor charging, and covers up to 80 miles on pedal assist depending on terrain and rider weight.
